It sounds odd when I put the caption as “Penang trip” though I am from Penang. But, the trip actually for hospitality and kinda celebrating friends of mine from Kuala Lumpur. They came to Penang on Saturday’s nite just wanna experience new life at new place.

New experience at Pulau Aman perhaps. A place where few people responsive about its existence and tranquility.

On Sunday afternoon, 12.05 pm, we headed to Jetty Cassia. I was a bit surprise at first because the car park was full and most of people parked their car beside the road and line up about 200 meter from Jetty Cassia.

On the day itself there are few boats running two ways taking people to the island. It was not about the schedule or timing of the boat anymore because too many people were there. If not, we only can take boat at 10 am, 1.00 pm and 3.00 pm.

My suspicious about the recent situation were answered when we reached there. A weeding ceremony was held at “Restoran Nelayan” and it definitely prevents us from having a good lunch of fresh seafood at the Restaurant. Luckily, there was another small stall opened and with only one alternative we had “Mee Udang” there. After having lunch, we spent about an hour hanging around the island watching villagers catching shellfish and fishing. Our trip to Pulau Aman ended at 3.00 p.m.

At 5.00 pm, we headed to Teluk Tempoyak experiencing a delicious and inexpensive “ikan bakar”. With only RM68, we had Ikan siakap, crab (Ketam Nipah), squid and prawn. The traveling to penang island was more meaningful after spending time at Batu Feringgi’s nite market . buy 10 dvds free 2….where to get this kinda promotion . Only at BF ..one dvd only 4 ringgit..bought 27 dvds…will spend this weekend to watch all of them.

Making decision for my career is the toughest thing in my life. At one time, I turned down both job offers due to difficulties that I had and mystification. Lots of things that I need to put into consideration and none of them can help me to solve the problem. At the end, I neither choose job A nor job B….Actually, what I want? I also don’t know because there is no perfect job that can suit me at that point of time.

I keep thinking about what I want to ..what I need to …my ambition and destination. It gives me headache when I think a lot about it. Therefore, I decided to focus and struggle to apply only one job…The job that I can enjoy working with it and for my career advancement. So, I won’t face any difficulty to make a decision whether C or D..he he

After one week, I got the job…..But, I can’t get rid of making decision. Once again, it appears another job offer which I never thought I want to apply at the first place. It also not in my list of jobs that I really want to ..or need to ….for my career advancement.

You never think about it, but when it’s there, it makes you think twice about your first decision..oh no!!!!!..what happen to my life. Full of mysterious and challenges.

Now, it’s not about career advancement anymore but it’s more on opportunity for you to strengthen your faith while working. That should be good enough for an ex-student of Islamic revealed knowledge like me…hu hu

I have another 7 days to decide…and I will decide to choose one only. Either A or B…I believe to my destiny .I will commit to what I have.

In the aftermath of personal tragedy, Wilson resigns from the hospital, and from his friendship with House.

Dr Allison : You think you are making a rationale choice. You think the worst is over. And then 6 months later you look back and realize that u didn’t know what you are doing

Dr Wilson : You say the pain doesn’t go away

Dr Allison : It gets easier. Not in 2 months. Not in 2 years but you know that it’s never really goes away.

On the other hand…..

Dr Foreman: You should leave. What we are talking about is what you want

Dr Wilson: Is not that I want to

Dr Foreman: Want to ..Need to ..Is there any change that being away from here will make you life even a little bit easier? Do it

Few months back, I got summon from municipal council (MC) for illegal parking. I almost forgot about this until my mom called me and informed that there was a final reminder from MC on the outstanding summon that I had. If I didn’t pay, then they will take legal action against me ( bring me to the court).

Ok ..No pro!!!!. I decided to pay. But before that I made a call to MC, asking the staff whether I can pay at one of their counters near to my house. The staff informed that I need to go the head quarter because I already had final reminder. The staff also suggested me to pay on Saturday due to my commitment towards works during working hours.

And today, early morning I went there to settle this outstanding compound. Frustrated to hear that I can’t pay on the day itself because they don’t receive payment for settlement of summon on Saturday. Confusion! I don’t mind if they tell me during my conversation with the staff. Now, I’m here to settle my obligation.

I think, one of their staff absent today. That’s why they made such a ridiculous reason to ease me. But, how about others? Shouldn’t be a problem if they accept my payment. Come on MC, I come here to settle the compound not to play around.

Few minutes after that, one staff came out with an alternative solution. She suggested that I go to post office and make “Malaysia postal order”. Then come back to make settlement. Erkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk…ok lah..whatever. I accepted the resolution and I must admit that at that time I was dealing with government civil servant. It’s proven.

Only one question, if they can accept settlement of “cukai pintu” via online banking but why they can’t do that for other things i.e to settle outstanding compound ?????????

Many thanks to Zuli for your kind assistance.

Hi everyone, long time no blogging. After few months with lack of activities, I decided to join my housemate ‘FiRhan’ going back to his hometown “JeRAntuT”. Also joined the team was sAef a.k.a drifter.

Jerantut????...Nothing much info about this place ..mmmm…the gateway to Taman Negara. Ha Ha..Sorry bro..

We reached Firhan’s house at 1.10pm after 2 hours travel from KL….. Yeah…smell something good. Something that I really want to “makan”. Ikan Patin Masak Tempoyak.

But, it’s not only that. His mom also served us with “Ikan Patin Bakar with Tempoyak”..a spicy tempoyak..yummy. this was my first time try this kinda food and I admit that I really like it. Look at below….looks good rite…

After “makan”, we decided to go to “Lata Meraung Waterfall”. One of famous waterfall in Jerantut and only few kilometers from Jerantut Town. A scenic Waterfall, 18 holes golf course and a series of rapids hidden from public sights.

Actually, on that day itself, I can see only few people there. One couple and a group of girls. That’s all. It’s quite a remote place ..deep in the jungle and near to “orang asli” village. But’ its really nice scenic waterfall…at least can release tension from a hectic life in KL

Could anyone suggest to me. What should I do during weekend????. I’m now in the process of transferring my attitude from being such a “workaholic” staff to a person that loves balancing life.

5 years ago I involved in auditing field. Working as an auditor requires me to give my full commitment to my works. Effective works, utilization rate, chargeable hours, submission of working papers or report due tight deadline, working 16 hours in a day, are now gone. No more works on Saturday or Sunday. Working for 8 hours per day only.

Ha ha Ha…

Why I left my previous job. Sorry..I have no answer for this type of question. A moment changed a million after it. Just one moment and it fall on 27 January 2008. That’s it. It turned me from “hero” to “zero”.

And now, with a new job,, I have more time to spend on Saturday and Sunday. But what should I do??? Watching movie, dating, traveling, fishing, play football, ….hundred list of activities that I can do..but none of them attract me so far…. Hu hu ..

Perhaps, I wanna involve in community service ..but which one. I’m looking for it.

It has been a long time and I didn’t update any traveling trip executed by Boyz from Alma. Actually after Perhentian Island, we had another trip to Cameron Highland on the second day of Hari Raya Aidil Fitri.

Come on G, it was a Hari Raya and you proposed me and Anis a trip to Cameroon Highland. Hu hu..Travel without a proper plan. As usual we went into it for the sake of my closed friend, Mohd Hafizi bin Abdul Ghani a.k.a G, a member of Boyz from Alma.

However, this trip was done with short of one member “Amy”, because he had another commitment. J getting married. Hu Hu

Well, we departed early morning on the 2nd day of Aidilfitri, using “jalan lama” old road via Parit Buntar, Bagan Serai and Taiping. At Kuala Kangsar, we stopped for a lunch time and three of us had “mee kuah” Kuala Kangsar before continue our trip to Simpang Pulai. From there we took North South Expressway heading to exit Tapah.

Along the way, I was responsible filming the trip. Oh No…where was the film?. Come on Anis. Pls don’t tell me that u already lost it. A lot of jokes happened….but u just lost it…don’t u?

The way up to Cameron Highlands via Tapah is the kind of roads that I love to see. Short straights and tight corners. Ha ha…no problem as the driver , G was already used to it ( he really likes to watch F1). The two way road winds its way up through fascinating jungle scenery. The ascent is gradual with only the drop in temperature to indicate how high we are. The flora of the tropics undergo a subtle and pleasant change with tumbling waterfalls, gurgling mountain streams, giant tropical trees rising majestically towards the sky, bamboo forest and hillside villages belonging to the Semai, members of the Semoi group of "Orang Asli".

Passing Lata Iskandar waterfall and then Ringlet we reached Tanah Rata about 1700 hours. Tanah Rata is situated 1,400 metres above sea level. The temperature here gets a wee bit colder. Great to get away from the bilstering hot Penang!

The drive up will take about one and the half hours to Tanah Rata. The first thing that we did were having “makan2” ..early dinner. After that, I bought a map of Cameroon highland and started strategizing for the next interesting place to go.

Around 1830 hours, we checked into budget hotel. Not bad. Just RM60 per night for three of us. No fan. Ha ha. The surroundings tell you why they don’t need this kind of electrical items. And there was no shop selling fan. Who does dare to venture into this business. Hu hu

At night itself we went to “night market” in Brinchang. Despite the fact that I hate the crowd, the market was great. It sells almost everything from a souvenir until a fresh honey. My favorite was a chocolate strawberry! The taste is so great (and it was my first time I tried it). The chocolate is really rich in flavor; add with a sweet sour taste from the strawberry. Anis told me that, it is one of Datuk Siti’s favorites. Don’t care. Ain’t nothing to do with her.

3rd Day of Hari Raya

The next morning, 0800 hours, we went for a short jungle walks near to our budget hotel. There are many interesting jungle walks in Cameron Highlands. Some are just a short gentle stroll and others a half-day stiff track for the very fit. All are enjoyable and worth venturing on. It was amazing to see all the beautiful sceneries and greenery forest.

After checked out from hotel, we decided to stop-by to few interesting places along the way back to Simpang Pulai. We went to Strawberry Farm, Ken Farm, Cactus Farm and Tea Plantation.

Tea Plantation – Owh it’s darn freaking fantastic loba loba! That tea farm was really amazing. It just beside the roadside and u could see a very fantastic view from the top. It feels like a heaven that we were never imagined. I couldn’t help G to take as many pictures as he can and it’s like every second everybody had to stop to take a picture. It was the greatest moment while we are there.

All in we clocked in 500km++ from Penang to Tapah and down via Simpang Pulai back to Penang. A great way to spend our holiday from the stresses of the city. But why on Hari Raya …Ask G la..why?

Pulau Aman , “island of peace”, idyllic fishing village and it is the gateway to tranquility and serenity. I’ve been thinking about this island for about a month. I even planned with friends of mine to go there but still unsuccessful due to several reasons.

I woke up early this morning, thinking to go there alone. But before that, I did surfing via internet, collecting information about the island and etc. Ya…this is a gamble journey, but of course I need to feed in myself with some information as well.

About 12.15 hours, I took my own motorbike and headed to Batu Kawan. I reached there 12.33 hours. I met one uncle at the jetty and asked him on how to Pulau Aman.

The smart uncle : Haiya abang, sikalang arr… kalu you mau pi pulau aman arr kena naik boat dekat balu punya jetty..lepas stadium batu kawan sana nuh…sini sudah talak.

Wahhhh..this is really new for me. I thought I suppose get a boat to Pulau Aman at Batu Kawan’s jetty. And now I’ve been informed that there is a new jetty to go there.( somebody please update information about P. Aman in the internet. especially tourism Malaysia)

Without wasting my time, I went to new jetty ( Jetty Cassia ). Such a new developing area and it took me about 8 minutes from Jetty Batu Kawan to get there. Nice jetty, coupled with good surrounding and mini restaurant. Very comfortable place with a safety car park as compared to Jetty Batu Kawan.

Unfortunately, when I reached there , I’ve been told that a boat just depart two minutes ago. And again, my plan to go there was unachievable. Ok …no prob, I’ll be there again next time …for sure. Ha ha

Pulau Aman…tunguuuuuuuuuuu

Mee Udang…tungguuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
